Scratching The Surface From Underneath - Blakfish

I am currently sat in the Kerrang! office, realising that I need to write a lot more on music reviews and features if I am ever going to get comfortable with this shit. 

So I want to write about probably one of my favorite artists of 2009.

Blakfish.

I saw them in 2008 and really digged what I heard. By the end of the year I had a Blakfish T-shirt (which I have now lost) and "See You In Another City", their incredible E.P

However, I have only just noticed that it was incredible! The turning point you ask? I think it generally had me getting back into the scene a bit more. Listening to more ballsy music again and having stopped crymaxing over bed wetting indy gave me the opportunity to get really excited about music again. Then I saw Blakfish live at the Old Blue Last... for free!

Shit son.. this band are fucking incredible.
